The "panda pull" is one of my favourite exercises because of the below mentioned reasons.

For people who have a hard time deciding how they're going to pull, I HIGHLY recommend using these "panda pulls". They really teach you the essential things, which are in my opinion, close, fast, sharp, but above all, CONSISTENT.

People sometimes get too confused with too much information out there. Panda pulls, really allow for a good feel of the rhythm of the bar with the body, so regardless of whether you're going to follow a "Russian" technique, a "Chinese" technique, an "Albanian", "American" or "Australian" or whatever the techniques they name it nowadays, if it doesn't feel good in the panda pull, I'm not sure it'll feel good in your actual clean or snatch.
